We have been quiet since the Baja 500 in June preparing for the 2010 season. Were currently going through the car and getting it ready for the next race. We will be assisting Ron Brant with his quest to win the Baja 1000 in November in class 1. Shawn Barbetta is putting his own class 1 car together currently and should be ready in time for the 2010 racing season. Our plan is to campaign both cars in select races for 2010.

Our next race will be the Baja 500 in Baja Mexico. Shawn B. and I will take over the second half of the course in Ron Brants class 1 Jimco. Ron is very experienced in Baja and will hand us the car in the top 5 without a doubt. We’re looking to have a strong finish on June 6th. You can track us at racetheworld.net.

Our first race of the 2009 season will be the Mint 400. This race will be one of the highlight races for 2009. It will draw over 300 entries as some of the best desert racers invade downtown Las Vegas on March 26-29. This year's contingency will be held under the Fremont Street Experience as it did 20 years ago. Our team is very prepared to tackle the 400 mile course and prove we will be a force within our class. Monroy Racing is in full prep mode for the 2009 racing year. Testing in 2008 went very well as we were able to log more than 600 miles on the new car. Were ready to represent our sponsors and supporters with some good racing. Happy Holidays to everyone and their families.
Testing has been going very good, we have been able to get faster each time out. Big thank you to all of the sponsors who have been supporting our racing efforts thus far. In the near future we will be going to our first race. Were confident the hard work will produce great results for our team and sponsors. We have added a short video from our last testing session.

Starting from June 28th our class 10 race car will be on display in the Kartek show room. Feel free to stop by and check it out, there you will be able to see the latest equipment on a cutting edge class 10 car. The car will be on display at Kartek for the next five weeks only.

Moore Racing & Design has delivered our new class 10 race car today. The engineering and craftsmanship of this vehicle surpasses anything we have seen within the industry to date. We are so elated to have picked the right group of talented individuals to build us this state of the art class 10 race car. They were able to hit every target of what a class 10 race car should be. This car will now move into the final assembly stage of the build process.
